Paves the Way for Nature

CBM is a liquid soil solidifier. The grounds-maintenance crew or a landscape contractor installs it. The existing natural soil or decorative soils such as decomposed granite or suitable fine particle sand may be used. CBM does not change the color of the soil. Natural Soil Pavement is more than two times stronger than asphalt. It is not damaged by rain. It supports heavy vehicles. And it requires little or no maintenance. Foot-traffic areas, parking lots, service roads, etc. may be specified to meet any and all design requirements.CBM Has Many Uses CBM is an esthetically pleasing alternative to asphalt and concrete. With CBM, the existing in-place soil or a suitable imported soil is used for 98% of the pavement construction material. There are many traffic area applications and non-traffic area applications for CBM. Proven Performance The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers tested CBM’s natural soil pavement technology. Approximately 350 other methods and materials were also tested by the Corps of Engineers.
CBM passed all USACE performance criteria for rubber tire traffic and non traffic applications in all climates. No other material performed as well as CBM and no other material had equivalent versatility, easy installation or as low a cost. Based strictly on the performance test results, USACE recommends CBM for roads, helicopter landing pads, and other traffic and non-traffic surfaces in desert, tropic and temperate climates. Simply dilute it with water and spray it onto compact soil; or mix it into loosened soil and compact it. A roto-tiller, a smooth drum compactor and a dilution tank with hose & nozzle are recommended. CBM does not damage equipment. Easy-to-follow application instructions are provided. Unused portions of CBM soil solidifier can be stored in the drums and used whenever needed for small or large areas.SPRAYING

Low Cost plus Many Benefits One inch of CBM is more supportive than one inch of asphalt. Inch for inch, CBM costs significantly less than asphalt. Spray-on applications of CBM are effective for light traffic areas. Spray-on applications of CBM are less than one-half inch thick, for outstanding cost effectiveness.CBM requires little or no maintenance. If damage occurs from spikes or other point forces, it is repaired easily by filling the holes with a pourable mixture of CBM and the natural soil or patching by spreading and compacting a drier CBM and soil mix into the damaged area.CBM never needs to be removed and replaced as with asphalt and concrete. Instead, after it wears, more CBM can be applied on top of old CBM inexpensively to extend the life of a Natural Soil Pavement application indefinitely.Environmentally Safe CBM is non-toxic to plants and animals. It has been tested and proven safe for sensitive aquatic life. It does not leach into the ground water. CBM may be applied in environmentally sensitive areas without worry or concern. CBM is 100% acrylic polymers and it contains absolutely no carcinogenic acetate or chloride polymers.
Easy to Specify CBM may be specified on construction plans by using one of the construction plan specifications provided by CBM. Simply call out the recommended CBM Application Method, and specify the in-place or imported soil material that meets the architect's or the owner's esthetic requirements.
